AMAZING
1st RIVOLI DARK DRINKING CHOCOLATE
Cacao, Portland
❤️❤️❤️ Do you get that I love this hot chocolate?! Omg, this is the best (or at least one of the very few best) hot chocolates I've had. It's dark chocolate, alive & bright with a sharp but subtle bite. I got the small & there was so much flavor that it was perfectly satisfying.
2nd RIVOLI DARK DRINKING CHOCOLATE
Cacao, Portland
Look familiar? I had to have it again. Dark, rich but not heavy. Mildly sweet, but with a sharp bite, like a really good coffee, but it’s chocolate, so some might say it’s even better! As the Oregonian described it, “a velvety, rich balance between bitter and sweet.”
3rd HOT CHOCOLATE
Sugarhill Creamery - Time Out Market New York, USA
Smooth, rich, chocolatey, sweet, but not too sweet or too rich! Made with their own vanilla ice cream, 64% Guayaquil chocolate & cocoa powder. If that’s not enough, it’s topped with ultra creamy torched marshmallow fluff & a tiny brownie piece! Like a creamy campfire marshmallow! I think we’re gonna have a long & satisfying relationship.
4th CLASSIC DRINKING CHOCOLATE
Alma Chocolate, Portland
Intense, smooth deep chocolate. Almost coffee-like. I would definitely get this again. And I did fly on a plane to get here!
5th CLASSIC HOT CHOCOLATE
Cloudforest Chocolate, Portland
It has a subtle, refined flavor owing to the subtle complexity of the Cloudforest Ecuadorian chocolate tempered by warm milk, which adds creaminess.
REALLY GOOD
6th HOT CHOCOLATE
Ebb & Flow Bakery, New York
This is fantastic 72% cacao dark chocolate! Not too sweet. Just an intense, smooth chocolate flavor. Swipe for chocolate with a view.
7th ROSE HOT CHOCOLATE
Cloudforest, Portland
A very gentle tasting chocolate. Smooth & light. Excellent quality.
8th HOT CHOCOLATE
maman, New York
I asked for a spot of pumpkin spice syrup in the hot chocolate. The flavors are good. At first it was too sweet for me, but when I mixed in the sediment from the bottom, the spices came through & now I love it! I wish I had known before I got down to he last 1/4 cup!
