It is so much more than a “chocolate chip cookie!” It is huge & has a cake-like consistency. As your teeth slowly sink into it, you taste a beautiful combination of Ecuadorian chocolate & vanilla, along with just enough salt to enhance the flavor, all in a brown butter base, which makes it rich & interesting.

This is one hefty cookie! That dark chocolate is so rich but balanced by a sharpness & depth of flavor, & punctuated by crunchy walnut pieces. It is definitely gonna be in my cookie rotation! It might be gluten-free, which makes it more amazing! Maybe that’s why it’s fudgy.

Dark, but not bitter, soft and delicious! Really really good. What a treat! I ordered a box of 3 types of cookies, since I’m not going on public transportation during the pandemic. The sale price compensated for the shipping cost! I will definitely be visiting when I resume using public transportation.

That’s cold-infused Tahitian Vanilla milk in the center, surrounded by dark chocolate inside the chocolate chip cookie! Amaze-balls, right? That cool vanilla milk went really well with the warm, soft, thick cookie shell. Not too sweet. Clever & really good!

Now I know why there was a waiting list of 10,000 (not a typo) at one point early on! These butter cookies are so delicate & gently flavorful. I was going to taste one a day, but whoops, I tasted all four just now! My favorite is the Black Sesame Ube so far. That could change. Named "Cookie of the Year" by Portland Monthly, The Coquine Cookie is their version of a chocolate chip cookie. It's made with smoked almonds, salted caramel, and really good chocolate. The flavors & textures combine to make an interesting gourmet & very good cookie. Perhaps if I hadn’t had the Cloudforest cookie previously, I would’ve rated this amazing. Personal taste. And it is super good. I’m getting another one to go!

Really a very good cookie by Ovenly. It almost made very good because it was fresh & soft, sweet & salty, but the ones I put in the very good category had a bit more depth of flavor. Still worth ordering if you’re there. It’s a quality cookie.
