AMAZING
1st VEGGIE BREKKIE
Urban Pantry, London
Huge and delicious. Nicely cooked eggs, nice to have butternut squash in there and salad. Mushrooms were yummy and the bread was giant. I guess it would have been better if they gave enough butter to spread both pieces fully but it was fine.
REALLY GOOD
2nd PORTOBELLO MUSHROOM
W7 Emporium, London
With blue cheese, roasted vine tomato, poached eggs & artisan toasts. £7.50 Really tasty, I am not a massive fan of blue cheese, but it was really nice melted over the mushrooms. Would choose this again.
3rd GREEN YARD
Limeyard, London
Eggs were soft, flavours were good. Lots of variety on the dish, nice to have some halloumi and spinach in there. I'm not a massive fan of the beans but they're not bad at all. Have had it before and will have it again. #vegetarian #cheese #breakfast #eggs #ealing #westlondon
4th FIELD'S BREAKFAST
Field's, London
Perfectly soft and squeaky halloumi, nice eggs, not too much bread and a nice twist on a full veggie breakfast; more vegetables than normal.
5th VEGETARIAN BREAKFAST
Papillon Cafe and Patisserie, London
With halloumi. Halloumi was dry but everything else was really nice. Soft toast, soft eggs and I always think spinach with breakfast is such a good idea.
6th MEDITERRANEAN BREAKFAST
Town Bites, London
"Mediterranean breakfast": labneh, Lebanese bread wrapped up with thyme and sesame, veg and olives AND toast with jam and butter! Their flatbread is always perfect and they make it there. It's probably one of my favourite things about this cafe. Too much food for me, I didn't understand why there was toast with jam and butter on the side, as i didn't feel like it went with the rest, but i guess it's good for someone who's really hungry! 😍 #lebanese #mediterranean #ealing #labneh #somuchfood
PRETTY GOOD
9th VEGETARIAN BREAKFAST
Manners Cafe, London
bubble and squeak, mushrooms fried with onion, beans, fried eggs (runny yolks yasss), hash brown, veggie sausage (a vegetably one rather than a quorn one), tomato, toast (wasn't really toasted properly and I wasn't a fan of the butter they used tasted greasy and bland), cup of tea. Can't really go wrong on most of that. I enjoyed the meal. Pity about the toast but had enough potatoey stuff so I didn't mind much.
10th VEGETARIAN BREAKFAST
West Grove Cafe, London
It's not on the menu exactly, I just asked for a vegetarian breakfast. Had 3(!) Perfectly cooked eggs, mixed veg with cheese, plenty of toast (I chose brown) and beans. Not a bad price, in fact probably the cheapest meal you'll find in the area excluding the likes of Cafe Nero etc. This was about £6 I think.
11th VEGETARIAN BREAKFAST
HAPPY Coffee And Tea House, London
Really enjoyed it though the leek sausages didn't have much taste.
JUST OK
12th THE VEGGIE HAYSTACK
BrewDog Ealing, London
It's vegan rather than veggie; no egg. I'm not a fan of padron peppers, and don't care that much about beans and the portion size was huge. It was enjoyable but probably won't choose it again. Wish they had a Scottish breakfast option with tattie scones etc and a full veggie Scottish breakfast option including egg.. (considering it's a Scottish company) #vegan #breakfast
