REALLY GOOD
1st MAKE YOUR OWN BREAKFAST
Roma Cafe, London
One thing I love about this cafe is their make your own breakfast option, which allows you to customise what you want as part of your English breakfast. For picky eaters, such as myself, this is a great idea because it avoids the hassle and awkwardness of asking to remove items from the set meal and replace them with others. I chose to go with hash browns, fried egg, baked beans, tomato and a fried slice. It was so delicious and great value for money, leaving you so full afterwards that you can barely walk! #breakfast #veggiebreakfast #brunch #englishbreakfast #vegetarian #custom #makeyourown #cookedbreakfast #fryup #friedegg #friedslice #tomato #bakedbeans #hashbrowns
2nd VEGGIE ALL AMERICAN
The Breakfast Club Soho, London
Full cooked breakfast with pancakes, vegan bacon, vegan sausage, eggs, potatoes and maple syrup. You get so much food with this that it is quite difficult to finish, so might be better for sharing. But all the food is excellent! The vegan sausage and bacon are very convincing and taste very much like the real things, the potatoes are a nice touch and the pancakes were gorgeous and fluffy. A really good veggie take on a classic American breakfast! #veggie #breakfast #brunch #vegetarian #cookedbreakfast #american #vegansausage #veganbacon #eggs #pancakes #maplesyrup #potatoes #breakfastclub
3rd VEGETARIAN BREAKFAST
Johnnie’s Kitchen LTD, London SE22 8HX
Vegetarian breakfast with baked beans, halloumi on toast, 2 veggie sausages, grilled tomato and hash browns. Also comes with two slices of buttered toast on the side. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this breakfast, seeing as I had never heard of this restaurant before. The sausages were delicious and quite different to a regular veggie sausage you would get, the halloumi was perfectly grilled and the tomato was lovely and ripe. The hash browns were also delicious and not too oily! Would 100% order again! #vegetarian #breakfast #veggiebreakfast #halloumi #toast #hashbrowns #bakedbeans #tomato #veggiesausages #johnnieskitchen #brunch
PRETTY GOOD
4th VEGETARIAN BREAKFAST
The Lord Moon of The Mall, London
Two fried eggs, two veggie sausages, baked beans, two hash browns, mushroom, tomato and two slices of toast. A good breakfast option which fills you up nicely, however the sausages were really dry when I ordered it and the fried eggs were kind of tasteless. The tomato was very good and hash browns were delicious, however. I would probably order again if I really wanted a full cooked breakfast, but I don’t think I’d go out of my way to get this over something else off their breakfast menu. They do have free refills on tea and coffee though which is always a bonus!! #spoons #wetherspoons #breakfast #fullenglish #englishbreakfast #veggiebreakfast #friedeggs #vegetarian #vegetarianbreakfast #cookedbreakfast #toast #bakedbeans #hashbrowns #tomato #veggiesausages #spoonsbreakfast
5th GARDEN BREAKFAST
Bill's Covent Garden (St Martin's Courtyard), London
Two poached eggs, fried halloumi, roasted plum tomatoes, charred red pepper, smashed avocado, hollandaise, pea shoots, mixed seeds and two slices of sourdough bread. Although this wasn’t the most amazing veggie breakfast I’ve ever tried, it did still definitely have its positives. Surprisingly, my favourite thing on the plate was the roasted plum tomatoes! They had such a sweet, juicy taste to them, almost kind of charcoal-y. I wasn’t a big fan of the halloumi; I felt it was overcooked, meaning it was difficult to chew and you got more batter than halloumi. The sourdough bread was also really nice, especially dipped in the hollandaise and egg yolk, with a bit of smashed avocado on it. On the whole, I did enjoy this breakfast, but I think I’d go for something different next time. #bills #gardenbreakfast #vegetarianbreakfast #sourdough #bread #toast #halloumi #avocado #smashedavocado #poachedeggs #brunch #breakfast #plumtomatoes #redpepper #hollandaise
