This reminds me of the hot & sour soup I grew up eating whenever my parents had potluck dinners with their mahjong friends. Love this!

The sherry is added at the table. Without the sherry, the flavor is just okay. Swirl that sherry into the turtle soup and amazing flavors pop out.

The flavor is good but it was more broth and barely any chicken or rice. I had to fish around the cup to scoop out a spoonful for the photo. I was really hoping that it was heartier.
