Hong Kong Cafe, RichmondI know this is a cold dish, but I expected the rice to be warm, or at least lukewarm. Rice was cold and had a decent flavor. The coldness did mask the flavor to be more on the bland side.
Leftovers (microwaved) lunch update: Microwaving leftover chicken is a skill to not make it rubbery. After warming up the leftovers so that chicken is still like "fresh" and the rice is warm, it tastes a lot better than what was served to me last night. Leftovers shouldn't taste better than the original servings.
