AMAZING
1st TARO MILK TEA
Plentea, San Francisco
This is the best taro milk tea that I've ever had! Made with fresh taro that's blended each morning and you definitely can taste the fresh taro flavor. This is definitely not a powdered taro drink.
REALLY GOOD
2nd UBE COFFEE
Mochinut Davis, Davis
T% is the other name for this business location, specifically for the milk tea options at this location.
4th TGTG SURPRISE BAG BOBA DRINKS
Amor Cafe and Tea, San Jose
This surprise bag had a red bean milk tea with boba, strawberry milk with mango and lychee jelly, and a citron tea with unknown jelly.
5th TGTG SURPRISE BAG BOBA DRINKS
Yifang Taiwan Fruit Tea, Berkeley
Yi Fang is one of my favorite places for high quality boba and fruity drinks
6th TGTG SURPRISE BAG BOBA DRINKS
Yifang Taiwan Fruit Tea, Walnut Creek
Paid $8 for four boba drinks via the TooGoodToGo app. Received 2 Brown Sugar Pearl Lattes and 2 Osmanthus Oolong Teas (approx retail: $24)
7th TGTG SURPRISE BAG BOBA DRINKS
Sharetea, Hercules
I can't complain with this "surprise bag" purchase using the Too Good To Go app. 3 drinks for less than $7 USD. They're surprise drinks, but I think I got a Hokkaido Pearl Milk Tea, Honey Tea with Grass Jelly, and Strawberry Tea with Lychee Jelly.
9th JASMINE MILK TEA
Yum Cha Boba Tea & More, Brentwood
One of my favorite boba spots in this area.
12th STRAWBERRY MATCHA LATTE
Bubble Crush, Monterey Park
Looks like a strange combo at first, but once you mix it, it tastes strangely good.
PRETTY GOOD
13th TGTG SURPRISE BAG BOBA DRINKS
Teaspoon Berkeley, Berkeley
Paid $10 for all these drinks via the TooGoodToGo app. They were all kinda meh. The boba overall was good in flavor, but texture was chewier than what I prefer.
19th DEW FIZZ
U Cha, Berkeley
Organic Green Tea mix with Honeydew & Milk + Lychee Jelly
JUST OK
20th CRAZY BROWN MILK TEA
Pacific Bean Coffee, San Diego
It's from a beach-side coffee/boba place and kinda of a disappointment... looks good, but milk tea tasted watered down. It wasn't super sweet, so that's a good thing. However, the boba was closer to the bland (vs sweetened) side.
