So delicious! The dessert buns come out freshly steamed. The bao and the sesame paste are prepared perfectly. Not too sweet and the right texture for the bao.

Best when eaten warm and straight from the steam basket. I've heard about these "lava buns" and had to get one. Very strong matcha flavor and the bun was delicious, too. If I'm in the area, I'd order it again.

I was hoping for this to be sweeter vs being subtly sweet. The texture of the bao and filling were great, which made up for the low sugar aspect of this "dessert".
