AMAZING
1st LOBSTER
The Wheelhouse, Falmouth
Perfectly cooked with a delicious garlic butter.
2nd LOBSTER
The Fish Bar Newquay, Newquay
Fresh Newquay 1/2 lobster caught that day, with a delicious garlic butter and really good salad alongside, all for £14.
REALLY GOOD
3rd WHOLE STUFFED LOBSTER
Lobster Bar Sea Grille, Miami Beach
Whole stuffed lobster with butter and corn creamless mash. This was my partners dish which he really enjoyed but think it was a little overfilling and rich. Massive portion for brunch. #brunch
PRETTY GOOD
4th LOBSTER
Lobster Bar Sea Grille, Miami Beach
Lobster morsels with Greek honey mustard aioli. Really good, the batter was light and the lobster was cooked well. This was just so heavy as a starter, fried food with a heavy aioli is too much for a brunch starter- needed to be lightened up, maybe with a little salad and less sauce. #brunch
5th LOBSTER BURGER
The Fish Bar Newquay, Newquay
Slightly overlooked so a little chewy but still delicious in a brioche bun with garlic mayo
6th LOBSTER TAIL
Sixty-One Prime, Duck Key
Lobster a bit overcooked, there was butter on the side and a very bland tomato fondue (essentially a salsa thing). Nice, but had so much more potential!
JUST OK
7th LOBSTER LOLLIPOPS
Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen, Las Vegas
I really really realllllly wanted to love this dish- it looks incredible, I love Guy Fieri and I love lobster. But it just didn’t work. The lobster was overcooked and chewy, and it’s difficult to see from the photo but underneath are a pot of fries which were meant to have ‘super melty cheese’...there was next to none. Came with an aioli which was okay. Overall just too much fried food which wasn’t tasty enough, really disappointed.
