JUST OK
2nd TONKOTSU RAMEN
Ichiran Asakusa, Taito City
Probably one of the most recommended ramen chains in Japan and found in most travel blogs. A place where you can eat Ramen in your individual booths and there is minimal interaction with the staff. Perhaps it depends on the branch you go to but I thought it was okay. I went to one in Asakusa. It wasn't anything special, just another ramen. And the novelty of the individual booth wore off after a few minutes. Guess it's not so fun when you're touristing in a group but pretty practical if this was in London - for my anti social moments but also where I want to take food photos in peace. 😂🙈
3rd SHORYU GANSO TONKOTSU
Shoryu Ramen Carnaby, London
Okay but not too memorable. The flavours were nice but didn't have much depth for a 12 hour broth. Guess I should have gone for the richer broth option. Also I had a clump of ramen at the end. ☹
