Look ma, I ate my vegetables! Yes, they were beer battered and deep fried and served with ranch dressing but they're vegetables. Healthy, right?

Some coworker friends and I treated ourselves to a delectable lunch to help fight off the -2 degree F temperature. These were piping hot and I liked the yuzu salt. Unfortunately we weren't lucky enough to get any spicy ones.

With delicious slices of garlic. Hot, salty, savory and still a little crispy. Perfect.

I say it all the time...if all my veggies were tempura-battered and fried, I could be a vegetarian. This small plate is served with Meyer lemon jam and chilies.
