AMAZING
1st OYSTER WITH PISTACHIO
The Drunken Butler, London
Quite possibly, no, PROBABLY, no, DEFINITELY the best oyster preparation I've had. Ever. It's been a long time since I have tried a new flavour/taste/texture combo that I couldn't even comprehend or conceptualise in my brain... But this is IT. Raw oysters are PERFECT with fresh, soft re-activated pistachios and pistachio crema. I sat in silence for a solid minute after eating just one of these. Couldn't move. Didn't really want to. Hats off to the chef, Yuma, because he is a GENIUS. šŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’Æ 1000 points for this one. šŸ‘šŸ¼
2nd OYSTER WITH O-TORO
Hot Stone Steak and Sushi Bar, London
Bright, briny, insane. A perfect, plump crassostrea gigas (pacific oyster), taking a sexy-time soy shower with sensuous fatty tuna belly. Wearing seaweed-wakame lingerie. Gettin me all hot and bothered! šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£
3rd OYSTER & ROSE HARISSA CHIMICHURRI
The Drunken Butler, London
Stellar. Under normal circumstances, this might be one of the best chef'd up oysters you could ever eat, but it must take back seat to the pistachio oyster at this same restaurant. šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼
