AMAZING
1st ROCK
Fish Central, London
Considered by many to be THE best fish & chip shop in London... And for good reason. Batter is crispy and crunchy, not greasy, and the fish is sooooo fresh, moist, and delicious. Still my fave. šŸŸšŸ‘ŒšŸ¼šŸŸšŸ‘ŒšŸ¼šŸŸšŸ‘ŒšŸ¼
2nd SKATE WING
Kennedy's of Goswell Road, London
This is a very very very good chippy... Batter is ever so slightly thick/oily but there is a time and a place for everything šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ Sometimes a slightly heavier batter is just what you need!
3rd COD ROE
Kennedy's of Goswell Road, London
Oh, HELL YES!! One of the best cod roes in town. Not overcooked like most places do it; just smooth, salty and buttery. YUM.
4th COD ROE
Sutton and Sons Fish and Chips, London
Excellent cod roe!! Fried perfectly. šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼
5th COD BITES
Kennedy's of Goswell Road, London
What can I say? Delicious. Biggest cod bites I've ever seen!
6th SCAMPI & CHIPS
Posh Fish, Oxford
Definitely the best scampi (langoustine tails) that Iā€™ve ever had at a chippie. And look at the portion size! Twice the size of a London portion. Incredible! šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜
REALLY GOOD
7th ROCK
Sutton and Sons Fish and Chips, London
A big piece of fish... not greasy at all, but it was just a weee bit dry. Could have been a fluke. Willing to give it another go! šŸ¤”šŸ˜Š
8th BATTERED COD
Master Plaice London, London
Decent fish and chips... a little on the oily-ish side (ever so slightly), without being full-on greasy. A slightly denser, crunchier batter, as opposed to light and crispy, if that makes any sense to you? Depends on what youā€™re in the mood for... thereā€™s a place in the fish & chips world for both types, in my opinion. šŸ˜‚ Excellent value, either way. Probably better than 75% of London chippies, from my extensive F&C experience! šŸ¤ŖšŸŸ
