Curly fries with Tom Yum flavors. Dipped with chili paste sauce (a.k.a. Name Prik Pao). The serving is enough to share for a table of 4.
6th PDX FRIES
PDX Sliders Division St, Portland
My wife enjoyed these more than the Caesar salad.
7th AJI FRIES
Aji Tram, Lake Oswego
These may look like your garden variety hand cut french fries... but they bring some heat. And the more you ate, the spicier it got.
PRETTY GOOD
8th 50/50 FRIES & RINGS
The Forks Resort, Bass Lake
9th LEGENDARY GARLIC FRIES
Gordon Biersch, San Francisco
Classic cut fries, extra virgin olive oil, parsley. The fried were crispy outside & soft inside, BUT not much garlic flavor.
10th DIRTY DIRTY FRIES
Pickled Fish, Long Beach
11th CHENGDU STREET FRIES
Danwei Canting, Portland
JUST OK
12th TRUFFLE FRIES
Little Big Burger - Pearl District, Portland
Though they gave me a ton of fries, these were fried a touch too long. They needed to change the oil.
13th DAN DAN FRIES
Basilisk, Portland
I like trying different things... but this turned out to be nothing overly special to me. I liked the idea... but to me, it was not executed well. Too much szechuan peanut sauce and the crushed peanuts don't seem to complement the fries.
