“With chilli jam, ikura and sourdough” In a nutshell, everything we ordered during this visit was very good. Portions are on the smaller side, small enough to give you room for dessert but not so small to leave you hungry after your meal. The space is gorgeous, with lots of natural light and you have the option of dining outside on the balcony. Service is top notch, attentive without being intrusive. Very friendly lot. Definitely returning!

Simple to prepare but difficult to perfect. Eggs must not be undercooked nor overcooked, as with the tomatoes, gravy needs to be a perfect blend of sweet, savoury and tangy, not too watery but not too goopy either… you get the idea… it’s all about the balance.
