AMAZING
1st GOCHUJANG COOKIE
basket break bakehouse, Petaling Jaya
Brown butter sourdough cookie laced with sweet and mildly spicy gochujang caramel. Woah this was fantastic. It’s sweet and salty at the same time and has just that tiny bit of heat. So unique and incredible. NEED MOAR!
REALLY GOOD
2nd ORESHKI
Torte by Linda, Puchong
Walnut shaped Russian cookies filled with dulce de leche, crushed cookies and walnuts. These were my favourite. These treats, I would not share.
3rd TORT MINI MURAVEINIK
Torte by Linda, Puchong
Crunchy, buttery cookies with homemade dulce de leche and walnuts. These were so good. They are quite substantial, despite their size so please share if you want to try their other cookies as well.
4th MINI KARTOSHKA
Torte by Linda, Puchong
Rich and chocolatey. Almost everything we had here was rich. They really don’t stinge on their ingredients. Please... share.
PRETTY GOOD
5th GINGERBREAD MAN
Coco Cafe @ Aeon IOI Mall, Puchong
Gingy is a little tired of this Christmas malarky. Tasted great though.
6th GINGERBREAD PERSON
Cake Sense @ Paradigm Mall, Petaling Jaya
On a mission to bring home a gingerbread cookie for The SO every Sunday. This one had a nice level of spices and a pleasant aftertaste of molasses but was a bit hard. Dunking is recommended.
8th FINGER COOKIES
Beans Depot, Petaling Jaya
Obviously this post is a little late... cookies are average but extra points given for the creep factor. According to the barista, some customers wouldn’t even touch them 😅.
