AMAZING
1st JAMMIE DODGER BROWNIE
42nd East Bakehouse - Central Market, UK
Most gooey brownie I’ve ever had. It wasn’t very practical but I hate dry hard brownies so this was so for me. I could also taste the lovely strawberry (? Berry?) flavour which I’ve not had in a brownie before.
5th PECAN BROWNIE
Paul A. Young Fine Chocolates, London
Only had a couple of bites so far as it’s super dense! Really nice flavour but yeah, very intense texture, more like a fudgy brownie rather than a cakey brownie. Will be taking my time with this one over the next few days!
PRETTY GOOD
7th CHOCOLATE CHIP BROWNIE
A Pie Party - Canopy Market Kings Cross, UK
Another great dessert/treat from A Pie Party. Soft, dense and moist.
10th PEANUT BUTTER JELLY BROWNIE
Crumbs & Doilies, London
Possibly an unfair rating because it’s genuinely just down to the fact that im not a huge peanut fan - sometimes I enjoy it in dessert but this time round it was a bit too much for me. Having said that it looks great and the actual texture of the brownie is lovely and gooey.
NOT FOR ME
11th SALTED CARAMEL BROWNIE
Fox Cafe, Nottingham
Quite a dry brownie. Not my fave.
12th CARAMAC BRONUT
42nd East Bakehouse - Central Market, UK
This has a brownie base but in the shape of a doughnut. For me it was just unnecessary. I didn’t get much flavour and the middle is literally just a huge slab of white chocolate. If I want to eat a plain white chocolate bar I can buy one... I appreciate the inventiveness and coming up with unique bakes but this just didn’t do it for me.
