The waffles were amazing for me! Crispy on the outside and slight chewy middle. Flavours were just right and not overwhelming. Loved this dish. Shame they’ll be gone after next weekend when WOAP ends.

My first Brussels waffle in Antwerp. Wonderfully light and crisp on the outside. Pleasantly surprised because I stumbled into a beer bar! Lovely with strawberries and cream.

The full description on the menu says: Buttermilk waffles, lemon mascapone, pecan brittle, hibiscus maple, spiced plum. I ordered a side of crispy bacon. Thoroughly enjoyed this.

I was very happy with this and I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve missed it or there was a generous amount of fruit. Delish!

This dish is always reliably good for me. $18 I love the waffles with berries, mascarpone and maple syrup. There are other options but this is my go-to. 👍

This is my second waffle on this holiday and I can only compare it with the one from Bruges. I prefer the one from Bruges because it was freshly made with a lovely caramel sauce and cream. This one was reheated and the caramel sauce tasted artificial. Maybe I should've ordered it on its own and unadulterated. 😂

The waffles were lovely and crisp. I really enjoyed this dish. I asked for more syrup and if there was a bit more mascarpone (it was under the fruit), it would be more awesome. Happy start to my Sunday ☺️

Two big slabs of waffles that had a good texture. A bit stingy on the maple syrup but they gave me extra when I asked for some. Shame they don’t offer this with fruit and cream.

Only available on Saturdays and the salted caramel sauce is not always available. So happy to have it today with poached peaches and crispy bacon. The bacon here is the best in town. I sometimes buy a pack to cook at home but it doesn’t turn out as great. 😩

They’ve changed this dish for spring/summer and it doesn’t have salted caramel sauce anymore. There are still poached berries and almond slices but this time it is a bit tiramisu-inspired according to the owner. There’s a light coffee flavour through the mascarpone which I loved. There’s also some chocolate crumbs. I plan to have this again next week and will take a photo of the exact menu description. 😊

I took a gamble and came for breakfast this Monday morning planning to have a little danish. Got a surprise to see the waffles are available! I was previously informed by the staff they are only available on Saturdays. Happy to see they’ve changed their minds! This time it was served with poached peaches. Still delicious and hit the spot. 👍

It didn’t work for me this time. Not enough blueberries and I wasn’t keen on the fresh banana because it didn’t improve the dish for me. Sadly the waffles themselves were a bit stodgy and not as good as before.
