This is a new restaurant within a restaurant. They’ve been open for about two months. I was hoping to try their steak but sadly they didn’t have what I wanted so I’ll try again another time.

A great start to a little holiday staying at Cape Kidnappers. Cloudy Bay Pelorus can’t go wrong.

Nice start to dinner. The cocktail was called Mezclona (Jimador Tequila, pineapple mezcal, passionfruit, lime, egg white).

I am not a fan of this style of glass for serving bubbly.

We were each given a complimentary glass of this. Such a sweet gesture from the owner who stayed to chat and welcome us back. 🥰

I wondered why this was $30 for a glass at the restaurant and I just checked the Quartz Reef website and it’s $120 a bottle. 😬
