I had to wait a little bit while the scones were picked up from the bakery at the sister cafe a few doors down. I absolutely loved it. The sugar sprinkles on top and the white stripes (some kind of light cheese?) plus the texture, flavour, oh everything about it. ❤️ I hope it stays on the menu.

I love their cheese scone here. They toast it really well and served with a good hunk of butter. Yum! I had one for morning tea.

Got the day off today and decided to go on a wee adventure to check out this little cafe in a mostly industrial area. I heard they make nice cinnamon buns but I didn’t see any on the counter. They don’t have a menu but offer a good selection of ready made sandwiches and pies. I’m not sure I’d be back because they only open on weekdays and I don’t frequent this part of town.

With a flat white. Delish!

It was nice and light.

It wasn’t as good as the strawberry one I had but still done well. Perfect texture for me.

First time to try and it was good. Fresh out of the oven. The second photo shows the whole second floor of the cafe. There’s a little balcony too.

I saw a staff member updating the sign outside the cafe and I recognized her from a different restaurant where she used to work. I’ve walked past this cafe but haven’t checked it out since it changed hands. I enjoyed the scone and I was told they change flavours daily so I think I’ll be a regular on my way to work.

This site used to be a different cafe. It’s my first time to try this new one and sadly their gas was accidentally turned off and waiting for it to be turned back on. I was too hungry to wait so I got this instead. I have to go back next time and try their French toast.

I still think it needed more sweetness but loved that it was nicely toasted for me.

I would love it even more if it was sweeter.

It needed more flavourful cheese for me.
