AMAZING
1st TUNA SASHIMI
梅丘寿司の美登利総本店 渋谷店, Shibuya City
This is how I like my sashimi served! Not paper thin! 🤤 Bliss...
2nd SASHIMI
Sokyo, Pyrmont
Two pieces kingfish and four toro (tuna). Awesome.
3rd TORO SASHIMI
By Sang, Rosebery
And chu toro (the ones on the left)
9th SALMON SASHIMI
Koiya Japanese Restaurant, Auckland
So happy with the thicker slices compared to ones in Wellington. 👍 Lost points on the wasabi that lacked flavour. Great value for $16 though!
11th TUNA SASHIMI
Sushi no Musashi, Kyoto
I’m glad I ordered off the menu. I like it when the sushi rice is borderline warm ☺️. This (awesome) experience eating sushi in Japan might have ruined me 😔. Must plan the next overseas holiday before I get too depressed with (lack of) Japanese food back home 😩.
14th SASHIMI FROM COCORO
Logan Brown Restaurant, Wellington
These are the next 4 courses from the #WOAP dinner and the last photo is the menu.
21st SALMON SASHIMI
Yoshi Sushi & Bento (Featherston), Wellington
The photo looks misleading. They are really thin pieces. 6 for $16. I was desperate.
27th SALMON SASHIMI
Dragons Restaurant, Wellington
Wow they serve salmon sashimi during yum cha. It’s my first time to see this offered.
PRETTY GOOD
29th SALMON SASHIMI
Kazu Resutaurant, Wellington
Their wasabi paste was very diluted and lacked flavour. The fish was ok.
30th ASSORTED SASHIMI
KAZAGURUMA Japanese Dining, Wellington
Tuna ($5.50 a piece) and salmon ($3.50 a piece). See how tiny compared to the ones in Japan 😩
