I understand wine can be very personal but I felt I had to share one of my favourites. We used to buy from this winery regularly until the liver kinda started to protest 😆 I’m not sure how available their wines are overseas but if you get a chance and you love Pinot Noir as much as I do, give them a try.

Man o war ironclad

This is the one on the right. I loved it more than the Homage on the left. It was a lovely long lunch to celebrate two 70 yr old winemakers. Mr Pinot Noir and Mr Chardonnay.

This is the wine on the left.

Had a cheeky tasting before lunch. I liked this and bought a bottle to take home.

Not as good as the 2018 vintage for me.

I enjoyed both wines paired with the beef fillet. Although at this point I’m struggling already.

Merlot-dominant blend with cab sav, cab franc and malbec.

2016 Chateau de Coucheroy

I forgot to take a photo of the wine but at least I got one of the name. I already had a couple of glasses by then and got distracted 😂
