AMAZING
1st DUNES BLANCHES
Dunes Blanches chez Pascal Bordeaux, Bordeaux
OMG, these little choux pastry goodies have cream in the middle. They're so delicious! It's the best choux pastry I've ever had!
2nd ENSAIMADA
Pinotxo Bar, Barcelona
Still as good as I remember!
3rd DUNES BLANCHES BROWNIE
Dunes Blanches chez Pascal Bordeaux, Bordeaux
They make flavoured Dunes Blanches sometimes and we were lucky to try this Brownie flavour available only for a couple of days (i think). The cream inside had chocolate specks and there's chocolate drizzle. I loved it too. Not too chocolatey. Just perfect!
4th PASTRY BOARD
Wildflour Café + Bakery Rada, Makati
The kouign amann (two in the middle) was sooooo good!!! The slice of coffee cake/loaf was nice too. I didn’t enjoy the other one with nuts on top.

Thinly sliced Granny Smith apples with cream and strasberries in the middle on a lovely base. Delicious! €5.50 only.

7th PLUM AND FIG PIE
Fragments, Paris
OMG this is absolutely delicious from this trendy little coffee shop.
10th SEPHORA
Grace Patisserie, Wellington
This was a wonderful surprise. I already ate the whole thing before thinking of taking a photo of the inside as you do 😂. It is a variation of their Father’s Day special. It is chocolate choux pastry filled with chocolate cremeux then there’s a thin crisp hollow ball of chocolate with caramelised bananas in the middle! Then coffee bourbon mascarpone on top. I loved it!
11th TORI

IMHO, they make the best danish in town and today’s salted caramel flavour is unmissable.
18th FEIJOA AND GINGER DANISH
Baker Gramercy, Wellington
My breakfast this morning. Yum! 20kms away from home but so worth it. The paper bag has two croissants for later 😂
18th FEIJOA AND GINGER DANISH
Baker Gramercy, Wellington
Oh what a treat, they still have them and the feijoa was thick and sweeter this time. So good! A miserable day but thankfully got there early enough to score a seat by the window. The area can only fit 4 people at a time.
19th PEAR AND PISTACHIO DANISH
Three Quarter Society I Specialty Coffee Bar, Wellington
This was at the airport and they source this from the French Cancan in town. Delicious!

Got one to takeaway and inhaled it for afternoon tea 😜

Still so yummy! I bought to takeaway and eat at work. ☺️
