I was getting impatient waiting for a table when it’s only just after 7am. There were lots of people queuing for takeaways and I realised they were selling doughnuts! More on that later. I didn’t know this dish was on offer so I was keen to try it. I really enjoyed it.

With housemade English muffin

It’s called Eggs Benedict on their menu and you choose if you’d like ham, bacon, smoked salmon or spinach. I chose smoked salmon but maybe I should’ve chosen bacon... This cafe is always busy (because they are good at what they do) and there’s usually a queue at the door.

There’s spinach underneath and I was surprised there was only one hashbrown underneath one egg and the other was sitting on a pile of only smoked salmon.

The potato hash were great but the kale was hard work 😂 (and I don’t have dentures!) I don’t know if they put the raw vegetable on the plate 🤔. Generous amount of food. I think it was around $20.

I would’ve liked more hollandaise sauce and it needed some zing. Menu on 3rd photo. $21

I like their house smoked salmon. It was mild and not too overpowering.

My Eaten app wasn’t loading so I didn’t get a chance to look up what I had last time before ordering. I shouldn’t have ordered this because the hashbrown underneath weren’t great. Overall the dish wasn’t as good as I had hoped. Very generous with the salmon though.
