AMAZING
1st FRIED GOURAMI
Ikan Bakar Cianjur - Batu Tulis, Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta
The fried fish was very delicious! So worth to order. Try also for the gourami soup, also very delicious. Light & refreshing.
2nd GRILLED RED SNAPPER
Lyon, Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta
Looking for french cuisine in the heart of Jakarta? This is the place. They serve lots of French dishes you could crave for. I tried their elite dinner package with choices of beef or fish. So i chose this one over the beef. Light, savory, & of course delicious! But you must prepare the money since this fine dining restaurant offer a fancy dining experience.
3rd FRIED FISH
Warung Mina Dalung, Bali
This is the original fried gourami fish served together with steamed rice & sauteed water spinach with plecing sauce (a balinese signature sambal) also a small portion of vegetables (sliced cucumber, sliced tomatoe, & basil leafs) together with chili shrimp paste & matah sambal. The fried gourami was excellent. However, the sauteed water spinach is not quite good, cold, not spicy at all, and over cooked. It lost the crunchiness. The matah sambal is delicious but not as spicy as expected. Too many shallots rather than the chili.
4th DORY SAMBAL SEREH
Excelso Summarecon Mall Serpong 2, Banten
Fried dory fish poured with lemongrass chili sambal was very good. Not too spicy but very fragrant. Yum!
5th FRIED GOURAMI WITH TAUSI SAUCE
RM. Akoen (senopati), Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta
The tausi sauce was very delicious. The fried gourami fish poured under the tausi sauce. #friedfish
6th DORY SAMBAL SEREH
The People's Cafe Summarecon Mall Serpong, Banten
This rice bowl is quite nice. The addition of matah sambal (balinese traditional chillies) was quite spicy!
REALLY GOOD
9th SPICY DORY FISH

The #sambal was very delicious & flavourous. Indonesian spices meets western fried dory
