1st SCALLOP AND IKURA
Sushi Sushi, Beverly HillsJapanese scallops with Ikura (Salmon roe) sashimi 1/2 size. Served with freshly grated wasabi, green seaweed, and soya/ginger/sesame sauce. I was staying in the neighborhood for one night and decided to go out for sushi by myself. I rarely eat alone, but when I have to I prefer sushi, cuz that way I get to sit at the sushi bar and be entertained by the sushi chef whether it be conversation or his work. This is one of the highly rated sushi places in Beverly Hills, and if you want rolls and cream cheese filled Americanized sushi, this is not the place for you. They serve simple and fresh sushi the traditional way. Most items are pre-glazed with the chef’s soya sauce, so no soy sauce needed on the side. Service was superb and they were very accommodating as to halving any order that’s too big for me as I am a lady with voracious appetite for variety! :)
