AMAZING
1st SKIRT STEAK AND EGGS
Brent's Deli Northridge, Los Angeles
Excellent! Perfect cook, tender, flavorful... It's not easy to cook a skirt steak this well. This has ascended to number one for me.
2nd BOEUF AND OEUF
Petit Trois le Valley, Los Angeles
Wow wow Wow! Look at this beautiful dish! Filet Mignon cooked perfectly and topped with a crispy piece of toast and a beautiful fried egg. The toast in it is next level. It's a magical presentation, but the taste is even better. Perfect.
3rd STEAK AND EGGS
Idle Hour, Los Angeles
Marinated flank steak, chimichurri, 2 eggs and toast. Good cut of meat and the chimichurri is off the hook! Best I've ever tasted.
4th GRILLED FLANK STEAK AND EGGS
Odyssey Restaurant & Events, Los Angeles
The breakfast winner! Steak was tender and delicious and pretty big. Served with smashed tater tots. They overcooked the eggs but replaced them (eventually)
5th STEAK AND EGGS
Mercado Buenos Aires, Los Angeles
The menu said it would be a sirloin steak, but it is a skirt steak. That was a pleasant surprise. The waitress said this is the cut of meat that they normally serve, so don't be scared Away by what it says in the menu. This was delicious. I ordered it medium rare and it was just right. So glad we have discovered this in our neighborhood!!! @military-momma , have you been here?
5th STEAK AND EGGS
Mercado Buenos Aires, Los Angeles
This pandemic version is a smaller cut of meat and the eggs continued cooking on the drive home, but the steak is still cooked perfectly.
6th STEAK AND EGGS
Mercado Buenos Aires, Los Angeles
8oz. Entraña steak with 2 fried eggs and breakfast potatoes. 😍
7th STEAK AND EGGS
The Old Town Junction, Santa Clarita
Petite filet mignon, crispy potatoes, onions, mushrooms, peppers and Fried egg. Steak and eggs were cooked perfectly. They always have amazing potatoes (smashed and crispy fried).
8th PRIME STEAK AND EGGS PLATTER
Mon Ami Gabi, Las Vegas
Perfectly cooked steak, 3 eggs and crispy hash browns
9th STEAK AND EGGS
Forma Restaurant & Cheese Bar, Santa Monica
6 oz. grilled filet mignon, two poached eggs - roasted potatoes & cherry tomatoes– grilled rustic bread
10th NEW YORK STEAK & EGGS
Safari Room, Los Angeles
Cooked exactly as I requested. No wait for breakfast (definitely a plus).
11th NEW YORK STEAK AND EGGS
Safari Room, Los Angeles
Consistently delicious. Great char on the steak.
REALLY GOOD
12th SIRLOIN TIPS AND EGGS
IHOP, San Fernando
Marinated sirloin tips with onions and mushrooms, eggs and crispy hash browns. Also comes with two buttermilk pancakes. I haven't had this dish in a while, but I've always really enjoyed it. The delivery packaging was excellent. My eggs did not overcook and my hash browns were not soggy. Delicious.
13th SIRLOIN TIPS AND EGGS
IHOP, Los Angeles
Steak, mushrooms and onions with 2 eggs, potatos and pancakes.
14th SIRLOIN TIPS AND EGGS
IHOP, Bakersfield
my favorite. Great flavor on the meat (even though it's overcooked) and I love it with the mushrooms and onions. Amazing hash browns
15th GRILLED STRIP STEAK
The Nest: A Breakfast Joint, Bellflower
Served with two eggs any style and chimichurri home fries. Potatos were nicely crisped. There's not too much chimichurri raise on this. Good quality steak.
16th RIB EYE STEAK AND EGGS
MexCocina Cafe, Burbank
The ribeye steak's cut very thin, so I was not surprised that they overcooked it. However, you shouldn't think of it as a ribeye steak but more like carne asada. As carne asada, it was very good. The seasoning was very nice and I ate every single bit. I appreciate it that they crisped the hashbrowns for me, but otherwise they were terrible. No flavor whatsoever. The waitress said that's because their older customers prefer it with no salt... Ick, no thank you
17th TWO EGGS YOUR WAY W/ PRIME RIB
Odyssey Restaurant & Events, Los Angeles
It's funny that it's called "Eggs Your Way" since they overcooked them (they replaced the eggs eventually). Good sized piece of meat with smashed tater tots.
18th RIBEYE STEAK AND EGGS
OD's Kitchen, Gilroy
Great seasoning on the steak. Eggs cooked perfectly. Hash browns crispy per my request. The only problem was that the steak was overcooked but they gave me a large discount even though I said it wasn't necessary. Delicious food and terrific service.
19th STEAK AND EGGS
Garcia Bros Cafe, Los Angeles
They overcooked the ribeye steak, but the meat was really good quality so it was still tender. It had lots of seasoning, so the flavor was also really good. I need to order medium rare next time. They give a TON of hash browns. I didn't ask for crispy, but I will next time
20th T BONE STEAK AND EGGS
Denny's, Coalinga
Thick cut of meat. It had a lot of gristle on the outside, but it was more flavorful than the filet I had the night before
21st RIBEYE STEAK AND EGGS
Wicked Cow Craft Kitchen, Los Angeles
With breakfast potatoes, mushrooms and chimichurri. Steak needed more seasoning. The steak and the eggs were cooked a little more than requested (but requested medium rare to offset that possibility)
22nd FLAT IRON STEAK AND EGGS
More Than Waffles, Los Angeles
This is not my favorite cut of steak, but they cooked it well. It had good seasoning and the potatoes are really good.
24th STEAK AND EGGS
Marmalade Cafe - Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles
The steak and eggs were cooked properly. It's a nice cut of New York steak. The potatoes were not good though. Chewy, not at all crispy
26th SIRLOIN STEAK AND EGGS
Denny's, Barstow
I'm a steak snob. I ordered a T Bone steak, but they were out. I didn't expect much out of the T Bone, so I had really low expectations for the sirloin. They overcooked it, which I anticipated and made sure to request medium rare, so I got the medium that I wanted. It was actually really good! So pleasantly surprised! The hash browns had great flavor and we're crispy per my request and the over medium eggs were perfect. Our road trip is off to a great start!
28th STEAK AND EGGS
Heart's Coffee Shop, Los Angeles
It was good. Cooked properly. Steak tasted like it was seasoned with a Chipotle rub. I would eat here again.
