AMAZING
1st PONO'S PAPAS BRAVAS
Malama Pono Restaurant, Los Angeles
Tricolor fingerlings, furikake, romesco and aioli. The fingerlings are smashed and crispy fried. Excellent!
1st PONO'S PAPAS BRAVAS
Malama Pono Restaurant, Los Angeles
Tricolor fingerlings that are smashed and crispy fried with furikake and served with a romesco sauce and a garlic aiolo. Sharable side.
2nd PATATAS BRAVAS
Cafe on 27, Topanga
The bravas sauce is served on the side, which is good because these potatoes are so good they don't need the sauce. These must be golden Yukon potatoes and they're fried. They're lightly crispy on the outside and they're airy and fluffy inside. Amazing. I've got to try to do this at home!
PRETTY GOOD
3rd PATATAS BRAVAS
Vino Wine & Tapas Room, Los Angeles
Red potatoes with house spicy aioli. I would not call that aioli spicy. This was a good dish, but it would have been better if the potatoes were crisper.
