REALLY GOOD
1st JAMBALAYA
Bailiwick, Las Vegas
It was like an etouffe. The rice pilaf had carrots and onions and red peppers in it, and a spicy, creamy tomato sauce with shrimp and andouille sausage was poured all around the rice. It was different and really good
JUST OK
2nd JAMBALAYA SAUCE PIQUANTE
The Palace Grill, Santa Barbara
This should not be called Jambalaya. It does have shrimp, chicken and andouille, but it is really a shrimp creole served over dirty rice. It doesn't rate as a Jambalaya
