AMAZING
1st 2 MEAT COMBO
Swinging Door BBQ, Los Angeles
This is Tri Tip and Brisket. My husband got Brisket and Rib Tips. They didn't ask us pur preference (even though you specify "lean" or "moist" when you order online), and I ended up getting lean. Josh's meal had both meats moist (which means fatty) and they were to die for!! Combo comes with bread choice (I got garlic) and 2 sides. Good BBQ sauce too. Best brisket!
1st 2 MEAT COMBO
Swinging Door BBQ, Los Angeles
Brisket (Perfect!!) and Baby Back Ribs with 2 sides and cornbread muffins. The meat was phenomenal, cornbread is great, delicious bbq beans. The mac and cheese was not worthy of space in my belly next to the rest of this amazing meal.
2nd PIG OUT PLATTER
Lil' Piggy's Bar-B-Q, Coronado
Choose 3 meats and 2 sides for $24. You get your money's worth and it's delicious! (must get the corn fritters with honey butter... I ate one before I took the picture!)
4th TRI-TIP
Wood Ranch, Los Angeles
Served here with mashed potatoes and grilled corn on the cob.
5th PULLED PORK, TRI TIP AND BRISKET
Johnny Rebs' True South Long Beach, Long Beach
Pork out lunch special let's you choose 3 meats and 2 sides with choice of cornbread, hush puppies or biscuit. The pulled pork was just ok. The tri tip is thinly sliced with good flavor. However, the star was the brisket. OMG, so wonderful! Tender, thick sliced, great BBQ sauce. Uh-may-zing! French fries were fine. Mac and cheese was Delicious! When you add the butter and some honey, the cornbread was heavenly.
REALLY GOOD
6th BABY BACK RIBS & TRI TIP
Wood Ranch, Los Angeles
Served here with mashed potatoes and grilled corn on the cob. Everything was delicious and tender. Trip tip was my favorite.
7th TRIO OF MEATS
Smorgasburg, Los Angeles
From Black Sugar Rib Company. Sausage, ribs and chicken breast
8th BBQ PLATTER
Smorgasburg, Los Angeles
From Moo's BBQ. This line was ridiculously slow. 45 minutes. Unfortunately, not worth it. The beef ribs was pretty good and the spare ribs a little better. The brisket was the most tender, but none of it is very flavorful. I think they rely on the BBQ sauce on the side for all the flavor. Good, but not worth the super slow service
9th BABY BACK RIBS & TRI TIP
Rosie's BBQ and Grillery, Los Angeles
With garlic cheesy mashed potatos and corn. I loved the tri tip and corn. The rest was just good.
PRETTY GOOD
10th BBQ COMBO PLATE
Ojai Deer Lodge, Ojai
St. Louis ribs and tri tip with potato salad and chili. Ribs fell off the bones. Tri tip was a little dry.
JUST OK
11th ROSIE'S BEST
Rosie's BBQ and Grillery, Los Angeles
Tri Tip, Chicken and sausage with fries and corn. The tri tip was great, but my husband did not care for the other 2 meats
