Melt in your mouth monkfish with lobster sauce and jalapeños.

Not only tastes great but looks fantastic too. Available on Wednesdays and Saturdays but you have to get there early as they run out of fish. This was the last one of the day... Phew!

I was sorely disappointed with this. The fish was dry, the sauce bland, it’s pretty difficult to make celery bland but they did a good job. The gnocchis were like plastic bullets. As if they were left over, microwaved up. Just seeing the colour of them I knew I would be disappointed. A sad contrast to the excellent meal we had the night before. Thankfully the service was good and I was pretty full from the starter buffet and there was a dessert buffet to follow. I should have just skipped the man and enjoyed the comprehensive cheese on offer.
