This restaurant flies its sushi into the Philippines everyday direct from the Tsukiji Market in Tokyo. Very fresh.

Tuna, conger eel, yellow tail, sea urchin, salmon, salmon roe, eel, minced tuna, spear squid, and egg. All heavenly delicious!

Mackarel that's cured in salt and rice vinegar. The best shime saba I've had so far in the Metro. Others taste like pre-packaged saba. This one - marinated from scratch.

Fresh salmon with mayo on a bed of sushi rice. Delicious but can get a bit monotonous.

An underrated restaurant. My go-to place for affordable but good Japanese food.

Tasted like pre-packaged vinegared mackarel. It only cost US$0.76 equivalent each. Can't argue with that.

Disappointing. Fish was dry. Can hardly taste the vinegar and rice wine it was (supposedly) cured in. Won't be getting this dish again at this restaurant.

This particular set had nothing but rice inside.
