This place has been around for about 60 years. The Blum's Pie is an original recipe and is only available there. Nowhere else.

Halo Halo translates to Mix Mix in English. It is a popular cold dessert in the Philippines made with crushed ice, evaporated milk, and flavoring such as ube jam (ube halaya), sweetened kidney beans, coconut strips, sago, gulaman (agar), pinipig, boiled taro or soft yams in cubes, flan, slices or portions of fruit preserves, and other root crop preserves. It's a mix of all those ingredients - hence its name, Halo Halo.
