Brauereigasthof Hotel Aying, Ayingbeginning dinner with the holy trinity: butter, "Obatzda" and Griebenschmalz. Butter doesn't need an explantation but the others might. Obatzda (here a cream version) being a Bavarian classic, with camembert, paprika, onions and Griebenschmalz (cue angels singing) is rendered pork and goose fat, add salt, pepper and grimes . ahh... I'd like another beer.
