Mr. Carastian just waited those 15 mins until they changed to the lunch menu - and the nice, very attentive South-American waiter brought this nice crab salad sandwich. Great, slightly creamy but not overly fatty crab salad, loaded with meat served on an unfortunately dry and boring piece of bread, with a side of fries.

whoops - that one almost slipped thru. the B.E.L.T. what a beautiful breakfast sandwich! Toasted brioche, lettuce, egg, fried green tomatoes (angels singing) and (THE LIGHT!!!) bacon! love on a breakfast plate. with a side of wonderful hash browns.

Time to say good bye. A last little taste of the US of A before going back home. Mr. Carastian opted for a bridge to the old country. A Reuben on marbled rye. good? yes. To die for? nope.

A fresh poppy seed Brezen Bun with a nice crust cuddles a layer of creamy Camenbert, pickles, slices of cucumber, thinly cut red onion and cress. A fortaste of Biergarten Season. nice.

look what was lurking in a dark corner of Mr. C's phone - two lonly shots from our Ren Fest ;-)). This one, being truly lovely. A hemp seed pita, filled with lovely ye olde turkey strips, some lovely creamy sauce (with some #SCHPICE!) and hemp seeds. Wonderful.

Tasty pesto mozarella and tomato. Nothing special but it hit the spot.

Hmmmm... toasty! A thinly sliced bread, holding the eternally tasty combination of rocket and prosciutto. Just dip in that balsamic creme on the side and BAM. Perfection.

Staple Biergarten food. Simple. Delicious. Perfect with beer.

Ham, prosciutto and cold Pork roast. Some fresh horseradish shavings a nice local mustard, pickles and Camembert. Gotta love Bavaria where the saying meat is my vegetable lives on.

Leaving MUC always involves putting in a solid layer of food since you really never know what kind of nonsense they will try to feed you on the plane (and Lufthansa really outdid themselves in the nonsense department this trip!) and since we've already spotted our classic weisswurst - here's it's little Italian buddy, the salami rucola panini. Toasted nicely, all gooey and hot, it was actually quite nice with a pre-flight beer. Little C stole all the chips though...

Ok Po' boy. The fries were surprisingly good. Nothing else to say - well maybe the location is really cool. Right on the water in the old Japanese fish market.

A glorified tuna fish sandwich... but tasty nonetheless. Sometimes the classics are just the trick.

Ugh... Mrs. C forgot that Tramezzini means crappy untoasted white bread - just perfect for sopping up every soggy bit of the tuna salad. FAIL.
