18th GREEK SALAD
NIKOS-OUZERI, Bad AiblingMr. Carastian's side dish - and envisaged - best side dish. But sadly, some Greek places just do watery dressing, bad oil and even worse, bad tomatoes. Not our dear NIkos. Good solid tomatoes, nice EVOO, some Kalamata Olives, cucumbers, a sliver of feta, peperoncino. The only thing that would take it up the last notch would be, if he would prepare it the same way that Mr. Carastian had it about 6 years ago in his then Restaurant. All cut to equal sized cubes. Some fresh herbs. AMAAAZEBALLS. But this one was good as well :-)
