On this stony platter are two beauties meant for your mouth - two perfectly cooked potato "rocks', filled with a creamy, herby creme fraiche. One bite was NOT enough!!!

Having a rental car for the week allowed us to adventure outside the hotel - and on this day we were actually seeking out a few restaurants that a good friend has recommended. We were foiled at every turn as they were all closed or on vacation - but then this gem just popped up and served us our favorite tapas of the whole week. Thank you sweet winds of fortune! Perfect wrinkled potatoes with both red and green mojo sauce.

WHAT a tasty dish of potatoes!!! Ordered for the young Carastian (instead of the classic french fries) these beauties ended up being shared by Mommy & Poppa, too. Easily some of the best Bratkartoffeln in the area. And worth an honorary mentioning: they even don't have a deep fryer in that place. gotta love it.

Construction and random FS posting lead us to this restaurant while visiting Karslruhe. The spot was a hipster cocktail bar/restaurant and we had some hit or misses. These potatoes were a hit!
