Mrs. Carastian ended this epic trip back to the land of the free... and the land of the laaaard with a perfect order of fried onion rings. big, moist and still crispy - LOVE on a plate.

WOW. If you think Mrs. C was happy with the cheeseburger, you should have seen her doing a happy little onion ring dance when these arrived. Big thick slices of sweet onion wrapped in a delicious crispy coating that, although was terribly fragile, was utterly tasty.

Now here's a winner... big, fat, juicy REAL onion rings! Greasy as the day is long but delicious! Once the excess fat was squeezed out and a little salt applied... these went down a total treat! Would gladly go back just for a bowl of these bracelet-sized beauties.

A sea of onion rings to begin the feast. Sadly, "meh" is all I can say about these - they seem to be convenience products and came slightly cold to the table. So.. more on the Restaurant! they kept their 70s charm of dark wood, and nostalgic stuff on the walls, and at 7 pm the place was JAMPACKED with people cueing in the doorway, hoping to get a spot at the bar to eat (not the onion rings.. the Rusticana Speciality).
