out to dinner with the business partner - and they took us to the lovely R.S. Hispaniola. A boat Restaurant docked close to the London Eye on the Thames. this Cucumber Martini, enjoyed on Deck was wonderful. Hendricks Gin, St. Germain Elderflower, Cucumber, Apple Juice, Lemon & Gomme. Prepared by a Tom Cruise Wannabe, flipping bottles. Gotta love him (for his mad mixing skills).

REPOST AS MF FS was just processing a spinning wheel of death - for hours... after a loong day of meetings - nothing beats some pre dinner drinky pooh. Mr. Carstian opted for a drink from the "Dessert drink" section (those brits, weird...). some Smirnoff Vanilla vodka, Tia Maria and a shot of espresso. hmmm..... pre dinner dessert...

Enjoying a very well made Cocktail at the End of the Road to Hana in the little Oasis that the Hotel Travaasa is. Super Premium Vodka (Whatever that "Super Premium" is...) Pama Pomegranate Liqueur, Grand Marnier and mirage (i.e. non exiting) strawberries.. Very refreshing and tasty!

Mr. C's choice of cocktail was über refreshing, not too strong or sweet and sumptuous hints of basil and grapefruit complimenting each other perfectly.

Mr. C should have known better... but he tried a 'vodka martini' again. Disastrous results. They ignored the 'vodka' part and just served martini bianco on the rocks. Well... he should have known when the waitress asked 'white or red' martini. Moral of the story, listen to Mrs. C and order a simple cocktail. She, of course, got a vodka tonic and called it a day.

NOT what was ordered - Mr. C ordered a Hendricks martini and received a crappy Gordons martini.
