A rainy London afternoon found the Carastians ducking in from the weather into this very promising looking pub - and being VERY happy we did! Starting things off was a lovely Bloody Mary, even though we were not sure the bartender was old enough to drink let alone make a good cocktail. Wrong on at least one point! Delicious mixing, my young friend - although facial hair might not come in for 2014 Movember :-)

Hello intercontinental LH flight! And your beautiful bar of cocktails. me and Mrs Carastian opted for the Bloody Mary - healthy and makes you digest the two failed attempts of landing in IAD easier.

Tasty little thing that should make that 11 hour flight in cattle a bit more bearable. Sadly the Russian gentlemen drinking not only the free booze the nice Stewardesses hand out but as well each a bottle of duty free Jack D until they loose the ability to speak (but sadly not the ability to use their e-cigs) try to keep the tension up.

3 hour delay. The lounge fits Mr Carastian's impression of the airline. On the plus side The Bloody Mary is taaaasty! Spicy and easing the urge to scream and yell;-)

last night of our three weeks of HI and CA and it ended in San Francisco, with some good friends and a dinner with a view. Mr. Carastian decided on a gigantic in size yet average Bloody Mary. well... average doesn't matter two in.
