FOODSPOTTING LAS VEGAS 2014 (my faves): I don't know where this dish originates, but it has to have some Southern US roots. I mean, where else could you get a dish as decadent as a toasted bread stack drenched in honey with ice cream? Shamelessly good, and worth the wait after a nearly 2-hour feast.
Banana pudding is my favorite dessert ever. This is the only item on the menu that doesn't change. It is Kevin Gillespie's grandmother's recipe. All I can say is BLESS HER SOUL! Served warm in a humongous mug, with toasted whipped cream, and NO vanilla wafers. Sweet, smokey, smooth (but not runny)...words fail me at this point.
yes, this comes as one dessert...clockwise starting at 11 - vanilla creme cake, chocolate and peanut butter wafers, oatmeal creme pie cookie, ho-ho... did I mention this comes as a SINGLE dessert?
