All smiles on a Sunday! 😁 It’s #SundayFunday and the only plans anyone should have today is #Brunch plans! ☕️🥞🍳 If you haven’t already make sure you check out the @strazzanti_co Sunday brunch pop up and Sicilian Bakery!🍞🍳 Founded by the three Strazzanti sisters, the pop up is available every Sunday until July and let me tell you the pistachio croissant 🥐 is to die for! 😍 I loved hearing their story and how Sofia, Nina and Emilia Strazzanti - three sisters with a love for food, started a bakery as an homage to their Sicilian and Neopolitian heritage. My favorite bit was the eggs 🍳 in sumo 🥫 and aubergine 🍆 and of course lots of cheese 🧀 on sourdough bread 🍞! My 7 course tasting menu at @wlondonhotel prepared by Chef Ben Murphy @benmurphychef was a treat for my eyes 👀 as well as for my mouth!😋 My favorite dish from the #WDiningSeries was the venison with parsnip purée and pine! My venison was perfectly cooked and the purée was a perfect balance to the dish. 🍽 . This menu was created as an inspiration of Chef Ben Murphy's childhood with dish like beetroot rose and oxtail tartare and the Egg and Foie Gras eggs and soldiers. Each dish had a unique story to tell of how Ben grew up and developed his passion for food. Some of the dishes were not exactly my favorite, but it was fun tasting them, hence the name "tasting menu"! Oh and let's not forget the amazing company I had that night - @truffleandtoast , @transatlanticfoodies, @scottcaneat , @kingkeneats . My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard…🥛😋 and @acousticbrasserie makes some of the best mango milkshakes in London! All my brunch lovers have to go check out Acoustic Brasserie in Newington Green for their Mediterranean brunch!
