The combination of the very rich and sweet house vanilla custard with the roasted sweetness from Sprecher root beer offers a complex flavor of sweetness! My biggest complaint is that there were only two scoops of custard in this, leaving this to really just be a root beer with a little bit of ice cream. The ratios were way off to get the silky texture and melting together of a proper root beer float. Still tasty, but mechanically a bit off.
