Right after the 30 year war (1659) the first Silvaner grapes were planted in the region of Castell. This is a beautiful riesling as full of flavor as it is of history - pairing extremely well with our seafood apps to come. The only problem we had is they hid the bottle so we couldn't find it for a bit for a refill... but then we discovered it in a tall ice bucket. Game on! - And thank you for the hand modeling (you know who;-))
