This was truly “a delicious, lovely rich chocolate bread studded with pistachio & icing sugar with chocolate almond cream.” For the same price, I derived a great deal more satisfaction from DONQ’s chocolate bread than I did with Bacha Coffee’s pistachio croissant. Not as pretty but certainly more substantial. Again, this was delicious and Japanese-level rich, which is not a bad thing.
