REALLY GOOD
xyla82's Seafood Platter list
This arrived and the husband and I just stared like the city dwellers we are, until the waiter offered to “open up” the two largest fish. I still had no idea what to do with the smaller ones - they were fried whole, and had such a high bone:flesh ratio, I wasn’t quite sure of the point. Similarly, the prawns seemed to be coated and fried whole; but I’ve never been one to eat prawns whole, and so after peeling and de-veining them there was really no point to the coating...
I don’t eat octopus or squid (both for taste reasons and I feel bad because they’re such smart animals, I’m a snob carnivore like that) so cant comment on those.
Despite the above complaints, the seafood tasted amazing. SO fresh, the owner is apparently a captain and sells the fish he catches. So beautifully flavoured too. So I still heartily recommend. The lobster was gorgeous, I wish there were more of it!
