These were much better than the takeout version. The outside was crisp. That was amazing. Unfortunately, the sausage had no seasoning at all and was dry. It was probably very lean meat. Perhaps the lean meat helps keep it inside the ball and from coming off of the stick, but the lack of seasoning made it more like ground meat than sausage.

Pancake batter and sausage. Although they're cute, the stick thing doesn't work. It just falls right off the stick and becomes difficult to eat.
