An interesting place - I really can believe the menu hasn’t changed since the 1940s... which is fascinating, seeing what London curries were like back then - but also because they aren’t made to today’s common tastes and flavours. Absolutely worth trying!!

Amazing 1940s timewarp. Exactly the place you don’t expect to still exist in the heart of London. Brilliantly simple food - the menu unchanged since 1947 and in an unexpected atmosphere. It’s not fine dining, more about the experience, but the set meal is excellent.
