A taste of Persia 🇮🇷 Reyhan restaurant, Swansea is a Persian restaurant that specialises in Iranian traditional cuisine, along with Turkish and Lebanese dishes. It’s a small restaurant but has a lot of character, after entering you are either greeted by the sounds of the beautiful music, the smells from the aroma of the kitchen, the sights of the traditional artwork and decor or the friendliness from the waitress. Either way you are set up for comfort. I ordered a lamb dish in a tomato sauce with yellow split peas. The lamb was perfectly cooked, I can only assume simmering in that broth for ages to infuse the tomato and spiced flavour aswell as create a tender texture. The whole dish was paired with a fragrant, pillowy rice which would absorb the sauce perfectly. Overall an amazing experience at Reyhan restaurant and highly recommend it as always.
