Thank you #GabrielRucker! I made this french toast while watching his Instagram Live demo from his home with his kids while his wife filmed it & read our comments aloud. It was fun! I made some modifications, like using a whole grain miche from #BienCuit here in NYC. I replaced fresh lemon zest with preserved Moroccan lemon rind. I can’t believe that I had most of the ingredients, though. Even the vanilla ice cream. I used old lavender buds I had bought for tea. Anyway, it was good! Would’ve been better maybe with a softer bread. It was also quite sweet, but I balanced it out with dark chocolate & coffee.😊😋
